This was my entry for the Digital Photography School's first week of their "Life" competition. I went for an "elements" theme – fire, air, earth, and water. Fire is life, of course – without cooking, and heat, we wouldn't have made it out of the caves. Hell, we wouldn't have made it in to the caves. Fire disinfects and purifies. Fire is life.
