Police lines
A police officer stands on the front line at Piccadilly, with more of his colleagues behind him. Around 300,000 people joined the March for the Alternative, an anti-cuts protest held on March 26th. Direct action groups splintered off from the main march, harassing businesses on Oxford Street and blocking traffic.
