Norman
Another photo from my grab-updated-team-page-pics mission from last week. This is Norman Casagrande, a member of the data team. Norman is a genius, spending his day in complicated mathematics and diagrams. I knew I wanted this photo to include his whiteboard, but the halo was a happy accident. Strobist info: 2 lights, apart from the ambient, which is low enough not to contribute. I had a Yongnuo YN460 as my main light, through an umbrella, at camera left around head height. This lights Norman's face and produces the specular highlight on the whiteboard. At the back and camera right is a bare Sigma 530DG to give the strong crosslight on the other side of Norman's face.
